Light and Space, is a body of work that distills the design language of cultivated landscapes into abstract compositions of colour, form, and spatial rhythm.Inspired by botanical gardens sydney, particularly their symmetry, pathways and seasonal transformations, these paintings reflect my ongoing interest in how structure shapes perception, and how colour can hold emotion and memory.
Through reductive abstraction and an intuitive approach to colour, I explore the delicate balance between order and spontaneity. My palette, draws from the emotional imprint of years spent walking and observing designed spaces.
